This perfect lineup hardly ever happens when I mix vinyl, zippers and piecing. 

Sorry I cannot show the full front of this until the 12th of September because it is for a secret swap and I put my swap partners name on the front of the fabric when I designed it.

The case is fully loaded and ready for her to take to school.

I am working on my machine quilting so everything gets quilted now.

Lalaloopsy Jewel Sparkles Costume

Last year my five year old just had to be Jewel Sparkles for Halloween. The problem was the only costumes we could find were very expensive, poorly made and only came in a size 4-6 which was not going to fit her. So I found this pattern from Simplicity http://www.simplicity.com/p-5399-childs-alice-in-wonderland-costumes.aspx and altered it to look just like Jewel Sparkles dress. I chose this pattern for the puff sleeves which Gracie really wanted. The only changes made were adding the buttons and 2 extra skirts.

Simply Pieceful Quilt

This quilt was made for my brother as a wedding present. I just love any quilt pattern by Nite Owl Quilting. The fabric that was used is Home Sweet Home by Sweetwater for Moda. Photography is courtesy of Kelly Jackson Photography.

I just picked up fabric to make pillows for extreme home makeover! They are building 7 new homes in Joplin in 7 days. I am so glad to have a part in helping these families feel comfortable in their new homes.

New Custom Rainbow Dress

I just love how this dress turned out. My original model was sick the night before I needed to take the photos. But my good friend Miriam let me use her daughter. Stella was such a good sport even though it was so chilly.
